Looptime faster than ESC switching, how is that better?
Looptime Discussion:
At 100% efficiency, a 2300Kv motor spins at 36,800rpm at 16v wide open.
The motors we use on 5" have 12 poles, which means that the ESC is switching 12 times per revolution, or 441,600 time per minute. (36,800*12)
This mean that the ESCs are switching at 7,360 per second at 16v wide open.
How could it be beneficial to run a looptime (hz) that is any higher than the ESC is even switching and adjusting? I can see that 8Khz could make some difference since you're now computing at the same rate as the ESC is physically working, but I see talk of 16Khz and now 32Khz coming and I'm just not understanding how there could be any real benefit...
I have tried 4K, 8K and 32K, Simply cannot see any difference from 8khz and higher frequency rates. Even 4khz is hard to notice any difference.

2 questions.......
Hello,
2 questions:
1- when doing a full throttle punch, upon lowering throttle to zero, the aircraft rolls ever so slightly to the right, just enough to be noticeable, is this a symptom of not enough I gain ?
2- Had a crash last night, not hard, but landed on a gravel road, aircraft now has shaken video at high throttle, I'm guessing due to vibration, I can hear ossalations during punch out, so there was definitely some damage, closer inspection revealed one of the motor bells had 2 small scratches in it, as well as the top of the shaft was ground up a bit, is this enough to cause vibration at high rpm ?
I have replaced the motor bell with a spare and will test fly tonight.

Replacement frame Nighthawk pro 200
Hey guys
I crashed my nighthawk multiple times, but yesterdays crash broke an arm.
Are there any frames (other than a nighthawk frame) I could use? The FC has an X layout so small X frames would not work.
I'm mostly looking for another frame, maybe 4mm (nighthawk was 3mm), that would either be more durable or have the option to replace the arms.
I always practice over soccer fields. So dirt and grass. I broke the arm crashing into grass.
There are a lot of good frames, so throw me your preferred brand or frame![Smile]( "Smile")
(After the crash, I could safely plug in the battery, but could not arm the quad anymore. Hoping for some minor issue. Will post pictures in a bit :p )

HELP! Eachine Wizard X220 Antenna
Crashed my Eachine Wizard X220 causing the VTX and its antenna to separate. The antenna was unrecoverable.
I can't figure out what type of antenna and SMA(?) connector/adapter I need to buy in order to get this things working again.
I bought some replacement antennas (here) which look like the ones I had before but all of the connectors I've looked at don't look like they would work with my VTX shown here

blackbox and vbat?
Question... is there something I can do with my blackbox logs to monitor my voltage? I know that I probably should post this elsewhere but I am kinda desperate and hoping for some help before I go flying tomorrow lol.
The idea here is if I can get a graph of my voltage across a flight and maybe other electrical values like amperage draw etc during a flight maybe I can troubleshoot my battery issues...
I know that I have somewhat outgrown the beginner question section but I feel this still applies to the beginner seciton level of "I don't know what to do with this" so any help (including the most basic "read this article" answers) will be more help than I could ask for...
I am preparing to destroy as much as $90 worth of LiPos tomorrow... and if there is any way I can find out what's happening when I kill them it will go a long way towards fixing the best quad I could imagine flying. If I can't fix it then the bumblebee is pretty much going to need a rebuild.
Key things I am looking for:
Are there any CLI commands I need to issue?
What sort of charts should I be trying to display?
Note: Blackbox logs are something I am still genuinely inexperienced with so I'll be happy for any help I can get
